Section 2: Usability Testing Process Overview
Usability evaluations can help determine if the people who use the website can do so quickly and easily to accomplish finding information. Usability applies to every aspect of the site in which a person interacts, such as hardware, software, menus, icons, messages, documentation, and help. Evaluations are designed to solicit feedback from participants, focusing on areas of concern identified by testers. An evaluation typically involves several participants, each of whom represents a typical user.
Once all evaluation sessions are completed, we compile the feedback received from each participant, along with our notes. We then prepare a final analysis report which we provide as part of the final project for the course
Our analysis is not a mandate for changes in the site. Our intent is to provide a base of information from which learning about usability can be exemplified and correct problems that are common to the site. We also note positive feedback from participants, to indicate those areas in which the design is successful.

Section 3: Overview of Instructional Design
Interface design is a combination of many elements within a Website. A key suggestion when creating a design is to Keep It Simple and Straightforward. My course Website discusses the different elements and their influence on the design. The site has Usability, Navigation, Images, Multimiedia, Typography, and Page Layout components.
When developing and designing a Website, examine various principles and begin with a site plan. Instructional designers are aware of how the interface design affects the outcome of the end user experience. One of the first activities to complete is to analyse the audience who will be using the site.
Interface is the program, navigational aids and other elements that communicate the information with the site users. Making the site’s interface understandable to user is of utmost importance to the interface designer. As you journey through my site various elements will be discussed that are guiding principles of good interface design.
